Variance reports can be generated via the payroll platform which show changes in pay runs from the last processed payroll. To generate this type of report, access the Variance section of your payroll platform. Next, select the date period that you would like to compare to view the change in gross payroll, PAYG Tax, superannuation and net earnings. A variance report can also be run on an individual employee level.
