Automated email alerts for bank and superannuation updates
Xemplo has introduced automated email alerts for workers and payroll teams when worker bank and superannuation information is updated. Now, when a worker’s bank or superannuation details are changed, the worker and nominated payroll contact will receive an automated notification advising of a change.
This important feature helps prevent payment redirection scams, an increasingly common payroll data threat costing companies in Australia over $220 million in 2023 alone (ACCC, 2023).
Please note:
- Automated emails for bank and superannuation changes are an important security protection feature and cannot be disabled.
- Emails sent include information about who to contact in the event of an issue - to update the contact information for your company, update the HR Contact details in your Company Settings (Company Details > Company Contacts).
